Default BEGi NC Rear Mount Turbo

Car Specs:
2006 MX5
GT2860RS
Custom IC
Custom Exhaust (what there is of it!)
Xede
550 cc Injectors

Tuning was done at Fastlane in Houston, TX. The car started off making 188 whp @ 6 psi. After tuning was done, the final result was 220 whp & 212 ft-lbs torque @ 8 psi. I was quite surprised at the response of this system. I would have expected some lag, partly due to the three catalytic converters on the car. But there really was not any. It's response was just as good (if not better) than any other Miata I have tuned. It was quite fun to drive.

A quick shout out to Fastlane for letting us invade your shop and being so cool about it. And to Jonny for his patience and perseverance.
Stephanie

You know, I know remote turbos have a bad rap, but based on a review I read recently about a successfully implemented turn-key rear mount turbo system for a Vette, I was wondering if y'all were going to go that route.

Congratulations on the NC system. From the m.n thread I know you guys have been working on it for awhile.

How fun, seems like a great route for those wanting to get into a newer MX5 compared to our more out of date models. Big difference in luxury between a ragged out 91 and a 06 MX5.

I'm really glad you did a remote turbo. Before I bought my '95 Miata, I was torn between it and an old Hardbody Nissan and doing a remote turbo for the KA24. I love remotes for some reason...

A 220whp NC (with suspension) has got to be a hoot. Is this going to production, or was it an injuneerin excersize? 5MT 6MT or 6AT car?

Wow, that's way better results than that "other" remote turbo we're so fond of!
