same kind of dyno. I know its not direct comparison - SR20 runs only 225kpa (vs 280 for me), different location, blah blah blah

I just find it hilarious that 4500rpm spool is somehow worth paying $1500 for a top-of-the line full-race manifold.
Nissan SR20DET Twin Scroll Turbo Manifold - Full-Race.com

edit: also the people who want to swap SR20 motors into Miatas because they are somehow superior....

Well you did have to run 10psi more. But your turbo IS smaller. And no cams. Or intake. So add on $600 for cams and $500 for intake to the price comparison.

SR20 Ouch.

um, it's a $900 intake manifold
and don't forget stiffer springs for those high-lift cams!

Regardless of MAP, you've got a torque curve that looks exactly like the SR20 with the twin-scroll manifold, only shifted 500 RPM to the left.

That is a beautiful thing.

It should only be one person. I was just making fun of the whole "why do people swap SR20's into miatas?" comment.

EDIT: Fixed my suspect post for clarity.

I agree the EFR turbos really are THAT good compared to everything we've seen for the last 15+ years. Glad you are having good results with yours

the Full-Race manifold WORKS, its proven on the street and track to spool a garrett 30R faster. Also it will outlast every other component in the car. no need to talk trash because the garrett 3076R with all the tricks couldnt touch your EFR 6758's spool.

If either of those built SR20's had an EFR 6758 and our singlescroll T25 manifold we both know there would be a different result...

Pretty sure it was directed at the SR engine

We have a dislike for SR's on this forum. Don't ask lol

That was directed at the people who say that EFR is expensive compared to normal turbos. $$$$ spent on a proper twin-scroll, twin-wastegate octopus manifold, twin-dump tube downpipe, two wastegates and a BOV....

That was directed at people who say BP engine is **** and SR20 is OH SO SUPERIOR.
EFR easily compensates for any shortcomings a BP motor, stock head, stock cams and stock intake manifold have.

thanks guys, no harm no foul. I agree the small EFR is more bang-for-the-buck than meets the eye. i have a 240 beater with stock SR20, maybe i should swap in a miata motor...
