Some 5 speeds hold together and some don't. Mine has over 220K on it and almost 100k of those miles have been with boost. I've done autocross, mild track racing, street racing and just lots of stupid crap and it is still like new.

It shifts fine and i'll keep it until(if) it ever breaks.

They're having a dyno day in my area on the 20th, so I will try and make that. I might have a video up today if I can get a friend to roll with me and film, I have no clue how my trans has held up, I am assuming lag associated with a larger turbo has helped a lot. I have had over 270 whp for the last 3 years in this car and no problems, only thing is I have a very slight grind into 5th at high RPM. My trans was rebuilt in 2007.

I think you just need to make it to the dyno day to shut up all the haters and non believers. And if you can't make it now that you've set a rough date, there will only be more skepticism from people, just do it.

I personally have believed in you the whole way, you have no reason to make up numbers and neither does the shop.

As a side note, it would be cool to make a poll and see who thinks you'll get the same numbers, and who doesn't.

I think you should tell everyone you are going to the dyno day and then not show up. It would be fun to extend this idiotic controversy over a non-issue even further.

I have no doubts that the numbers are real and that anyone that thinks this guy would make up a fake dyno plot needs counseling for masculine insecurity issues. Yes there are variations between dynos and their operators and some of them can be optimistic or pessimistic. Blaming any of that on the OP is foolish.

I do believe that there are legitimate questions about how much power have been gained by different tweaks and modifications done to the setup and what additionally could be done in the future. I think that the science part of the discussion is why most of us are here.

Which dyno day? Go early so I can come and help document this. Afternoon/evening is already planned though... so go early!

And give me details of where/when.

Respect the power claim if it is true. Seriously, just post up a video or two, that will satisfy everyone.

Borrow a camera, borrow a phone that has video capability. Post up some vids, give me a smokey burnout or a quick blast up to triple digits, at your power level it is a quick jaunt through the gears.

Yeah no **** sherlock.
He's anticipating people to catch on to his bullshit and calling him out for parting out the car instead of "proving the haters wrong" so he's getting OFFENSIVE and getting that out of the way right away.

for the record I think this car is badass, the setup is badass, and am not even calling bs on the numbers. But when he got his panties in a bunch from people (the greeks specifically) calling bs and said he'd re-dyno he pretty much made it mandatory.

But its just so much easier to part everything out so no one will ever know if the numbers were real or not isn't it?
So if I post up an 900whp dyno sheet tomorrow and part out next week I get to claim "HIGHEST POWERED BP" too right? No one can prove me wrong right?

Oh well. Good luck with the future build I guess.

*EDIT: ps - if you're going to babble on about how "I don't care about you ididots with your shitty slow cars and blablabla" then don't get your panties in a bunch. Simple as that. People that don't care actually DON'T CARE.

Dude come on, it's just the internet I had no idea you took MT so seriously! Haha, just messing man.

I made the pic as a joke for Jason. Doesn't really matter who is right or wrong, as long as we enjoy our cars. I've talked to people who have ridden in the car and what not, they say it's faster than any miata they've ridden in. I would have loved to go for a ride in it before the part out, even though I keep calling him a complete and utter **** for parting the thing out! You reading this Jason?!?! Grow some ******* ***** and let that turbo breath!!!

The dyno was good enough for me and it's cool that you believe the number too. I mean come on...it's SOUND PERFORMANCE! They are a world renown shop and I expect them of all people to be a reliable source for accurate dyno numbers.

You should shoot Jotothawhat a PM and ask him nicely about his new setup..... It's going to be nasty. Apparently some people are not happy with 400+whp, even though they can turn the boost up on that billet monster!

Honestly, it would not surprise me. He was talking about somewhere in those numbers, lol.

He's getting scared because he knows my plans about setting a real 1.6 power record. I wouldn't doubt it if he went fe3 and broke 800 just to say, "**** you guys!,.....part out time"

I don't open the turbo FS threads.
Then as much as it pains me, I call BS on the numbers
