So I'm a complete noob when it comes to ecu's and stuff. Ive looked at MS, Hydra, Adaptronic, and E-Manages. Well my friend has a EMU for a newer gen Celica GTS and I was wondering what I need to do to get it running? I searched for a Celica EMU but couldn't find anything. I read something about some jumpers for an EMU from a Honda but not sure if there is something like that with the Celica, and then if there is I don't even know what or where the jumpers are. Any help would be appreciated.

Obviously the stock ECU (EMU) from a Celica won't be in any way compatible with the harness in your car. So I'm going to assume you mean an aftermarket ECU. If it's an aftermarket, you have a chance as a lot of them are universal, unless they were designed as a plug-n-play for a specific car. You're going to have to research this and find out exactly what your buddy has.

He has an E-Manage Ultimate, and I was looking at purchasing the Boomslang harness for it.

Gotcha. Sorry, I didn't notice what forum this was in. Yeah, the EMU should work fine. Here's the manual in pdf form.
