Default RPM signal and injector Earth

1997 NA Miata-1.8

Where, and what is the best wire to tap for an RPM signal and injector earth on the ECU loom?

RPM is on the black lead with a white stripe at terminal 4L of the ECU. It goes from here to the tachometer in the instrument panel.

I'm not 100% certain which of the earth leads are injector earth. It's most likely the heavy black leads at 4C and 4D. The black / green lead at 4A is a shield earth, and the black/blue lead at 3O is the analog signals earth (things like O2, TPS, MAF, CLT, etc., are referenced to this lead.)

Greatly appreciated. I'm in the middle of making up a boomslang for my Emanage using a patch harness and an emanage injector and ignition harness, but am completely new to auto wiring.

Could you please tell me which one will give a throttle signal?

I think I have found the ignition feed at 4R and 4N. Is that correct?

Wiring in an ECU without having access to the stock wiring diagrams, eh?

TPS signal is red/black at 3F. Ignition triggers are brown and brown/yellow at 4N and 4R. The power steering pressure switch is blue/yel at 3P, and the brake light switch is green/blk at 1Q.

Oh, and this is all from the US-spec car.

Thanks Joe.

I've been googling like mad trying to compare the various pin outs to match the idiots emanage guide. I know I dont need all the wires on the Emanage Injector and ignition harness. So far I have the following:

ECU Power +12v 4B Spliced
ECU Earth 4D Spliced
RPM Signal 4L Spliced
Air Flow Meter ECU 3B Cut
Throttle Signal 3F Spliced
Injector Earth 4C Spliced
Injector 1 4U Spliced
Injector 2 4V Spliced
Injector 3 4W Spliced
Injector 4 4X Spliced
Ignition 1 4N Cut
Ignition 2 4R Cut

Does that all look correct?
