I got the Emanage Ultimate installed properly, as far as I know, but when I go to start it it just cranks and cranks. Made my own jumper harness like the MS guys do, and it is made properly. I believe my jumpers are all set correctly, and I setup just like the manual.

Help?

When I data log it doesn't show any injector duty cycle input or output while trying to start.

Returned it back to stock and it starts, so it must either be the software or the jumper settings.

ps read on the crank and cam positioning sensors. if you have them.

I have a 2000 NB 1.8l, stock everything for now. I am trying to get everything running on the EMU first before the turbo install.

did you wire in the crank and cam positioning sensors?
if you did cut them off, make sure the RPM signal is connected. cut them in a way so you can put them back if it does not fix your problem.

Yeah I connected both the cam, crank, and rpm wires.

When I datalog startup it shows rpm and afm voltage properly, but under inj duration% input and output it shows 0%, so that leads me to believe that the emanage is not seeing an injector input, but I triple checked it and it is wired correctly.

Also do the switches need to be set to anything? I also noticed that the panel on the front of the emanage says up is on, but the actual switch says down is on.

you don't need the crank and cam signals into the emanage
it will run just fine off rpm signal.
jumper setting can be found by doing a search on here

you got lucky i am one of the nice guys and does not bitch at you for not searching.

I triple checked my jumper settings, and they are correct, but it still will not start.

i am afraid that the harness is questionable. it is easy to make a small mistake on the harness and affect the whole outcome. did you ever consider investing in a bloomslang harness. 200$? just an opinion.

Any more help?

I built my own boomslang, and I believe it is alright, although it could be the problem.

Still runs when I put it back to stock.

Fixed.

I had the Emanage wired for a 4 channel ignition, but the Miata and the tune was for a wasted spark setup. It was just confusing the EMU.
