Default EMU - Wtf is it, and what is the price and goodies?

Don't you ******* flame me, I went the MSPNP path, and that's why I know jack ******* **** about this.
So for all of you who want to rip my head off now.. **** you.

And now, to the topic!

I bought a slightly used turbo kit, with a complete GReddy setup with EMU, and 550cc injectors and a FM fuel rail.
And then someone had a MSPNP left over..

So I went ahead and got the MSPNP, and that makes my EMU pretty much redundant.
So what the **** is it then?

From what I read off the GReddy pages, it can be used on all cars with the proper cables, without the actual EMU being different.
Does this mean I can sell it to the average SX200 dork?

Living in Norway gives me about diddly squat off the GReddy pages when it comes to price, and on ebay, it's priced from $200-$900. What is the actual price of an EMU with the 89-93 cable mat?

And yes, I've googled and searched it. I just want to get rid of the thing (it's in my trunk now, and we all know that it's pretty limited for space), and I really don't know what to tell potential buyers.

EMU and EMB are universal to just about any vehicle. The wiring, off course is dependent on the vehicle it is being installed into and internal switches may need to be reset. The plugs and wires that go into the EMU are all the same; it is just that you hook them up to different points on the car.

Price is whatever the market will bear for a used one.

Good, then that's settled. Now I know I can sell it to whatever dude who want's to tune his car.

"What the market will pay for it" isn't quite the answer I needed on the price issue though.
What is the retail price in the US OF A for the EMU with 89-93 harness?

And really, the GReddy site blocks me since I live in Norway, so I can't get the retail price.
And the Norwegian price doesn't matter, since we all order it from the US OF A anyway.

Again, I need the retail price, ebay varies from almost free to crazy expensive.

I just want the retail price with the 89-93 harness.

In the words of Mr. Wolf
Pretty please, with sugar on top.

(And thank you, olderguy)

Greddy doesn't sell direct, you need to search for suppliers. Average with harness is about $700

Thank you all, I finally have something to look at when I put a price on this stuff.

So now, the final question, how good is this piggyback anyway?
From a piggyback point of view :P

Would there be issues using this in combination with ITB?
A guy who's interested in it is going for ITB's, and I don't want to sell something he won't be able to use for some reason.

It's good, I've got one but would get an Adaptoronic or Megasquirt now for around the same money which tell you it's not worth as much as you might think. £2-300 if you're lucky.

IMO the EMU is the best piggyback setup you can get. The only step up from an EMU would be a full stand-alone.
