Flooding, running rough, Stalling
I reently had a rebuild on my engine. I replaced the rods and installed lower compression pistons. All Belfab.
For the first 500 miles, it ran well in and out of boost. The other day, while in boost, it coughed, ran rough, then died. A mechanic on the spot managedto get it running by spraying carb cleaner into the intake manifold. From what I could gahther, i was having a fueling issue.
a couple of days later, same thing. This time, I couldn't getting it running again. It would start, then run really rough, making no power at all. I checked all the aftermarket fueling components, and took my EMB injector control offline. No change.
My mechanic changed the fuel pump while I was there, but not change. It did the same thing, but it seemed like it was flooding judging from the strong fuel smell coming from the engine bay.
It's running now, after changing soem of the stock fuel components. I won't be sure what's been changed til I get my car back from teh mechanic today. My mechanic still isn't sure what the underlying cause was.
The problem seems intermittent. I'm still wondering if it could be related to my EMB and/or Autotune.
Thanks!

Sounds like it might be the AFM. I chased a similiar problem and wrote about it here:
