Default Xede Idle and Boost Control

I just got my Xede in my car with the 550cc injectors. I am only running 5psi right now until I can get the idle working then I will try the boost control map.

I have a couple of questions to all of you Xede users out there... both 550 users and others.

First what do your cells look like for idle and what is your A/F ratio and RPM at idle? Does it idle nice like stock or rough?

Second who has the Boost Control map working and would you mind sharing your map so I can see what you did to start?

Thanks everyone,

Joel

Chances are the numbers are positive in the idle area. The car needs more fuel on hot start. AFR on cold start will be rich. Hot start should be close to stoich. The car should idle at 800-1000 with the a/c off. About 1100 with the a/c on. It should be smooth. If your car is not, check to be sure the LED is green on the Xede. If it is not, you will need to re-load the timing pattern file.

The boost map can work if it is wired up to a boost solenoid. Send me your map and I will set it up for you and/or make sure it is correct. Just remember the boost map is is set up as a percentage of duty cycle. The bottom two rows need to be filled with "0".
Call me if you have questions or need clarification.
