Default Help identifying Link ECU??

Hi guys, hope someone will be able to help me out with some Link ECU information.

I have a '92 NA16 for which I have been fabbing an M45 setup, the project has slowed down quite a bit, rusty sills, winter, etc all got in the way, but I really want to get this finished now.

I was going to go down the MS route, but have been offered a Link ECU at a very good price.

I've since tried reading around about the various FM Link ECU's, which were compatible with which cars, different software versions, specfic MAP & IAT sensors, etc.

The thing is, the guy bought a NA18 with this already fitted and a turbocharged Mk2.5 VVT engine fitted. We've been trying to work out which version of the Link ECU he has, and whether it will be able to run my NA16 (I don't mind modding or building circuits), it doesn't sound like an FM PnP one as he is not using an IAT sensor nor a Link specific MAP sensor.

The only information he can find on the ECU PCB is the following on a sticker:

ECU: "2003/06 S/N 003625 Link Electro Systems"
Hand controller: "0009 S/N 414255 TEST DA"
Hand controller circuit board: "TRULY M161-1B1"

On the CPU there are no software version stickers, just the IC manufacturer/model details.

Can anyone identify the ECU from these details? I'm confident that the ECU will work OK as it has been running the Mk2.5 engine and turbo OK, just more concerned with what differences/mods I'll need to make it work with the NA16.

If anyone can help, or offer any advise it would be much appreciated

Then again, as the ECU PCB fits inside the original Mazda ECU case, it must be an FM Link, as all of the other Link ECU's I've seen (Gx, non FM specific) have their own cases.

Here is a picture of the ECU anyway:

You should email Link direct, they identified mine for me.

I was disapointed to find mine was a g3 which has no WB support, no IAT capability. I think I would go MS PnP next time. Although i have to admit, the tech guys do respond to emails very quickly. The details in the answers can be a little lacking but i imagine the questions they get asked are a bit lame if you truly know what your doing...unlike me yet.
