Default need a bin file for tec II miata

Hello I recently bought a miata with a FM kit and a TEC-II ECU. I've learned that there is no way to get the bin file off the ecu so I either need to start from scratch or pay the shop to make the changes.

I would much rather do it myself and learn about the ecu so I can make my own changes down the road but that might not be possible with this platform. If someone has a nice .bin file they want to give me I would appreciate it greatly. even the printed file version would be helpful so I can at least have something to fall back on. without the bin file on my computer I cant change anything.

What kind of details on the car? 1.8 or 1.6? Fuel injectors etc?

I have a few maps I can send you. Couple that with screenshots of PNP maps and you can get a solid start.

I have a 1.8 (97) 10,12,15psi map set I can send you. No guarantees on accuracy as it isn't mine but supposed to be a solid map. send me a PM with your email address.

off hand do you know what I need to be changed to use this on 99 or will it work as is? I'm going to adjust it for my car on a dyno but if I can at least have the car running ok out of boost then less time on the dyno.

it will run on your car as is. start with the 10psi map and adjust the TOG to get it running well. Do NOT use TOG to set idle mixtures. Use it when under full boost to adjust fuel. The tec-2 manual will walk you through that.

great, thanks for the tip. I have the manual for the software and the hardware. I've read most if it once but now that I have base map I will read it again and walk myself through the file to make sure I understand everything. right now the first step is to figure out why the TPS is not hooked up.

did you use the factory TPS?

TPS is the least of the worries as it will drive accel enhancements but for initial driveability just make sure the throttle reading goes 0-5v as you open to WOT.
