Default Codes P0131 and P0171

Hey guys,

I was going to the post office today to send out some packages, and about 2-3 minutes after starting, the engine would hesitate at part throttle and sort of misfire during idle.

A minute after, the CEL came on.

Runs fine if I give it a full throttle run.

I checked with my ScanGauge, and got a DTC P0131 and a pending P0171 after I cleared the P0131. The P0131 comes back if I switch the ignition off and start again.

I didn't have my laptop to connect to the MS3.

Halp?

Thanks, I'll go for a ride with my laptop and see what TunerStudio has to say. Perhaps its time to change my wideband sensor.

If its running just Fuel/Spark with MS I'd imagine so. If your Fuel is off or ignition table the Stock ECU is probably gonna pick up some codes. I never ran a MS this way but thats how I picture it.

You realize this is Rev we're talking about right?

Not some n00b. He forgot more about MS than most of us ever knew

Yeah, this MS3 supports 60+ codes, CCM monitors and realtime OBD-II data. There's no stock ECU in the car.

K, tks bye.
