VVT tuner will not connect to laptop
Well like the title says. I bought a 2.5mm to serial cable but it will get stuck on loading tables from controler and will not load base map to vvt tuner. I am not sure I hooked up every thing right and wanted to see that the vvtuner was seeing rpm so it could work properly and I wired the sensors (crank and cam sensor) and am not using them for stock timing so anyway any suggestions.
I check ports and have choose right port 2.
I emailed the diy people but no responce.

1) Make sure both grounds are connected properly
2) Make sure that the LED is on
3) The software does freeze on connection sometimes here too, but its no persistant. If you try a couple of time, it will connect eventually.
