coil pack or computer

coil pack or computer
I have a 1994 mazda miata. It was not getting fuel so I changed the fuel pump. Still no fuel. Changed fuel pump relay. Still nothing. A friend told me it could be the ground wire to the computer, so I grounded the fuel pump relay to the frame and it worked. The car ran fine. I turned it off for a hour or so and it would not start back. I took the fuel line off to see if it was getting gas and it was. So I checked cylinders to see if they were getting any spark. And cylinders 1 & 4 were getting fire but 2 and 3 were not. So is it the coil pack, the computer (ECU)or something else? Please HELP!

Hello gentlemen. I have not made an intro post, but my name is Todd, and I apparently have a miata. It is a 1994 and was not getting fuel or something.
I replaced the fuel pump and still did not get fuel? I then changed the fuel pump relay, and still no gas.
My friend told me it could be the ground wire to the computer, so i grounded the fuel pump relay to the frame, and it worked!
The car ran fine until I turned it off for a hour or so; however, it would not start back up.
I took the fuel line off, and it is getting gas. I checked to see if it was getting spark and cylinders 1 and 4 are getting spark, but 2 and 3 are not.
Is the coil pack bad, or could it possibly be the ECU? Perhaps it is something else entirely. Please help.
