AEM - Patch Harness for Miata's
After careful searching I had to change my title and description since this may be old news.
I see that these are genuine AEM patch harness's. Maybe you've seen these before maybe you haven't - it was news to me as of poking around on ebay today.........

It turns potassium into vermacite which increases the turbidity of the bernoulli principle.....in theory....but in a labratory they have only been able to increase the viscosity of wolfram.

Why would I want a patch harness for an aftermarket ECU...
I'm curious because I think I may have a OBD1 Miata AEM EMS and my car is a 97(IE. OBD2)
In honda land, there are millions of OBD2-->OBD1 conversions... could this patch harness be similiiar to this??
Landrew - You have too much time on your hands (but I just jacked your thread so I don't mind)

- In the case you don't want to hack up your wiring harness in the car when running a parallel or piggy-back ecu. Also, if you have ever tried to do any sort of work on the ecu/harness underneath the driver side dash - the thought of one splice is depressing, much less 10+. For my 5' 8" frame, I had to lie with my back on the seat with only enough room in the footwell for my head and one arm. 2nd place to actual water-boarding. When the alternative is a pleasant splicing session on a workbench, sipping on the bevereage of choice - I'll take the $100 patch harness every time. FWIW, I got mine from Boomslang...

Sorry, I have been here for a few months and have learned a bit. I've still got a lot to learn but when I saw the oppurtunity to make a joke to someone in my position a few months a go I thought I'd go for it.
Notice though that I kept it clean.
Thats me.

I know this is an old thread... but just wanted to inform you guys so you don't waste money like I did. The AEM Patch harness sold is incorrect for the NA. It is the 3 plug patch harness that may work for the NB (or any obd2 miata that uses the three plug ecu).
AEM ECU Patch/Extension Harness 30-2983C
That said... If you have an NA, go for the FFS, Begi, Boomslang, or the Autosport Wiring Harness.
