Default Blitz SBC i-D2 speed dependent boost.

Has anyone tried the Blitz SBC i-D2s speed controlled boost function? The SDC i-D2 has 4 boost settings that can be tied to speed, i.e. boost setting 1 until 35mph, boost setting 2 to 65mph, and so on. Has anyone tried this? Is the transition smooth or traction breaking sharp?

Generating a speed signal will just require a Hall sensor to be mounted such that it sees a ferrous tooth every revolution of the front wheel, but I don't want to waste time on it if the end result is not worth having. Still it's simpler and cheaper to implement than the Racelogic setup (which is an option when I get time).

No one on this forum tried this or a similar system? Perhaps I should just give it a go and see what happens.
