Haltech ecu for NB

Haltech ecu for NB
I got a supercharged NB that I want to upgrade from my current piggy back set up. I am pretty new to tuning/stand alone. I am currently debating between ems and haltech. I was wondering if anyone have any tips/recommendation with regards to the ECU before I buy it. I am running factory sensors and I will be tuned by local tuners. Apart from the ecu, is there any other things that I need to buy, such as sensors, etc. And which version of haltech should I get?
Thanks a lot.
Thanks a lot.

#1 rule when purchasing an aftermarket ECU is to ensure that you have access to a tuner that specialises in that particular ECU. It's no good buying the best ECU if you don't have anyone that knows how to tune it properly.
Regarding the Haltech ECU:
I believe the Platinum Sprint 500 is the new "Haltech ECU of choice" for MX5s. It comes with an inbuilt MAP sensor and Air + Coolant sensors you'll need.

There is also the plug and play MS2 that I build, which costs less than half the price of the Haltech, and works perfectly on the NB. Full alternator control, sequential injection, VICS control, battery light, sequential ignition, electronic boost control, full A/C control, you name it.

The Sprint works well, but we typically recommend the Platinum Sport 1000 for FI Miata installs...just a bit more capable. Please PM me if you have any questions, we've done more than a few NA/NB Haltech installs and our tuner helped Pioneer the R35 GT-R system on his personal car so we are quite knowledgeable with them. From what I've seen the Psport1000 is by far the best ECU available for these cars...and still a good bit cheaper than the Hydra.

My sprint 500 controls the following.
Idle Air Controller
boost controller
seq fuel/ignition
meth water pump and solenoid
logging multiple temp sensors
Reverant I am not sure of prices but functionality of a p1000 /p2000 from haltech works perfectly as well on a NB.

Is anybody who can help me???
I am using the haltech platinium sport 1000 on my mazda mx5 jdm 99-00 which i made it turbo. My tuner could not control the alternator so we used another alternator with the result to lose the smooth idling of the engine when the lights are on, aircondition on, use the window,,,,,, actually idle is too low,,
Would you please tell us how to tune it in order to use the original alternator?
Thanking you in advance,

Have older Interceptor with .img files saved on my laptop but no software and no IT skills. Need to swap from the high power map to the low power one to better suit my standard brakes and tyres and lower level of driver ability on the track.
Can you help?
