Settle down everybody, we still got 5 days. I'll build to suit, you want a mandrel bent pipe I'll make it happen. If I am going to prove you right I have to do it your way.
Flex pipe is the easiest fitment past the trans. My car currently has flex pipe in the same location.

Mandrel bends are nice, I use them. You can get them fairly cheap on mandrelbends.com. If you're gonna go to the trouble to build a new exhaust, at least do it somewhat-right. You can build a mandrel bend aluminized 3" system fairly cheap.

Dyno Tuesday or I'll gtfo on my own accord in a dunce cap, make it easy on the MODs.(I've also been fasting, not because its Ramadan, but because if I have to eat my own words I wanna do so on an empty stomach)

lol

The only reason we took particular issue with you is because you deliberately challenged the collective knowledge here.

It's one thing to be new, or wrong, or plain dumb. It's another to call out the community.

That is all. We don't care enough about you to hate you, or have any negative feelings towards this thread.

This is amusing

PS: I'm glad you're not salty about it. There's hope for you yet

Like I said earlier, I've never been so excited to be proven wrong.

Alright. Here is a 2.5" vs 3" exhaust.

Only difference between these 2 runs was a 3" exhaust, 60psi base pressure (instead of 43.5), and about 10 track days and 10k street miles.

Same dyno. I'm still missing some spool from EBC tuning.

10-20ish. MAP doesnt line up exactly. But where it does the 3" wins every time.

10-20whp is literally nothing.....

But there are small gains to be had overall. Granted those same gains can be had by running a whole 1psi more or removing your spare tire lol...

todays the dyno day right?

I think many people dismiss the flow gains of 2.5" to 3” because they see it as a 20% increase in size, when it's actually a 45% increase in size.

Bitches love 45% more girth.
