This forum is for raping noobs. It's hard enough to make 450hp on a 1.8vvt motor let alone a baby dick 1.6l.

Now...

People are giving you **** because you are building a 1.6. It costs the same amount to buld a 1.8. You know how people pay 5 grand for flyin' miata stroker kits to get a 2.0l? You get more displacement for FREE (or dirt cheap) going from a 1.6 to a 1.8.

Seriously.

But hey what do I know. I'm just a guy with a turbo 1.6 car that is going 1.8 this winter.

I am 1.6 turbo too. And after really researching my brains out. I am going to go 1.8 also. It makes so much sense in the long run and for my goals. I'm glad people gave me crap lol I mean some more Obnoxious then others but they got there points across thank you again.

You might make it here afterall. Haha, try to find a VVT head to go with that build for more spool. At least a 99 head for the flow.

Will do. My friend has a 6 speed trans and 1.8 LSD rear with one piece axles and everything for $800.00 is it worth it? I read here everyone is doing it. Must be a great upgrade. Don't worry I will research it more people before I make a noob statement about it. Lmao...

Touche, I haven't seen a thread this bad turn around so quickly.

In a few months after you have seen 100 other noobs make posts like yours, you will realize why we gave you so much ****.

If there is one thing you learn today, make it this: always do 'advanced search' and sort by relevancy, or just google search with 'site:miataturbo.net <thing you want to search for>' otherwise you will never find anything and then we will rape you for asking noobish questions again.

Now, hustler aluded to your 6262 GSX, he posted a pic with an empty spot where a car should be. That's your hint to post it up.

I thought he was going with the "trailer trash" insult, but you may be right.

GSX actually sounded nice. As for the torsen, **** YES its worth it - although 800 is a bit steep imo, people do get that much for them some places.

I've got about 400 total in mine, but i bought mine with a broken alum housing, bought a replacement housing, and swapped the two. I used the broken housing to get it for basically nothing.

Uh, $800 sounds pretty good for both. I think maybe Fireindc thought it was only for the torsen. $800 is a bit steep for each, but for both it's probably a pretty good deal.

Now that the hazing and n00b asshattery is out of the way, we can move along.

$800 for a 6 speed and complete torsen setup is a great deal.

Get it before someone else does.

i think the problem here is how op is saying he's "going to" instead "doing"
to solve this please post up some pictures i wanna see some progress.
because i spend all day looking up build threads so i can learn someone else's mistake
thank you.

Thank you, picking it up next Thursday. Now I'm just looking for a 1.8 and that VVT head

QFT, that is a great deal. I misread and didn't think he meant for both. Jump on this OP, would be a nice setup.
