Default Insulate fuel injector connector wires?

Hey people,

When using PNP connectors running EV14 injectors, is it necessary to insulate them? They are going to get hot no matter what, so does it make a difference if they are wrapped in that stretch and stick splicing tape or spit loom or something like that?

Here's what I'm talking about:

Well **** you.

I said I have ran covered and uncovered injector wires. I have noticed no difference between the two. Covered looks cleaner.

Here's what I'm talking about:

Wrapping them with anything will have no affect on their temperature. It's for abrasion resistance. I think I wrapped mine in electrical tape, I think that's how they are done stock. Don't remember perfectly to be honest. That area is well protected so it's not vital if you're worried about it.
