MSM cams in VVT Head?
I was planning on building my MSM motor but found a great deal on an 01' motor with VVT that I will be purchasing. I want to know if there is any reason the MSM cams would not work in a VVT motor if I swapped them over since they are slightly more aggressive from my understanding. Would this swap offer the benefits I am expecting?

Interesting question.
I know for sure that VVT intake cam has a nub on the end for the CAM sensor, which is no other cams have. You can probably work around that.
I'm not aware of any other reason why they wouldn't fit, but its possible that the VVT actuator has something to do with it.
edit: yeah the VVT intake cam has screw holes for actuator mounting on it and sticks out a lot further.

So I read that thread you linked soviet and I saw a whole lot of speculation but did not see any actual tested results. It is also incredibly old and I assume that someone has tried this in the past 5 years. I was thinking Savington or Emilio would have done this or atleast figured out if it would work.

Exhaust cams are identical for all 99-05 motors including the MSM AFAIK.
VVT intake cams are unique and cannot be interchanged with BP4W or BP5A cams. The #1 journal has a significantly larger diameter.
