Default 1.8 head gasket differences?94-97.....99+

Looking for a cometic gasket to make up some space on a head that I need to have cut, all I see is that it works with 94-97. Cometic only has 1 on file for a 1.8 "BP". Any help would be great!
The car is a 1999

Yes they do, infact, some of the gasket sets come with both 99 and 94-97 intake gaskets.

I can vaugly remember reading 2000 VVT (-on) have smaller coolant holes in the head gasket on the front cylinders to alow better cooling of the hot rear cylinders if that makes any sense.
