Typically they respond slower too. My Autometer gauge froze at 14.7 when its sensor died.

this should be a sticky! my car keeps going lean, i hope its the o2, its been running on leaded fuel since tuned so i imagined the o2 was probably going

Note that this is a WBO2 test, not for a stock narrowband, although it might be interesting to see results with a 4 wire.

I'm not convinced and I actually don't consider the AEM a reliable unit to begin with. A friend gave me his to repair (broken display), it actually displayed 14.5-14.7 WITHOUT the sensor connected!

Almost all of them do this. My autometer wideband, AEM, and a friends Zeitronix all do the same.

Just about everyone uses the same Bosch sensor, what is different is how they read them and interpret the data. I think you can order a zeitronix that uses an NGK sensor.

Yikes! My innovates (LM-1, LM-2, LC-1s) tell me if the sensor is disconnected, if the heater has gone bad or the sensing element has gone bad. I'm not sure I would trust a wideband that doesn't even know if the sensor is connected or not.

According to the documentation this isn't a bug, it's a feature! Lol. It allows you to callibrate your ecu to a known voltage.
