Dimensions of valve seats?
Having some copper alloy(not copper beryllium) valve seats and guides made as an experiment.
I will probably just buy some stock valve guides so they can copy them.
Trying to find the specs for the stock seats are these right?
Intake
1.4375 Inch O.D.
1.162 Inch I.D.
0.23 Inch Depth
Exhaust
1.005 Inch I.D. Top Taper
1.257 Inch O.D.
0.905 Inch I.D.
0.23 Inch Depth
I have a VVT head and will redo everything with inconel exhaust valves and maybe some VVT cams if Savington makes some(?)
Will try some aluminum rods, Ti wrist pins and maybe some custom pistons just for fun
Yes Hustler I am stupid and enjoy burning money for fun.

I would not use the OE valve seat insert size, I would go the next cutter size up, so you will have fresh counter bores to install the seats in.
And remember the seat insert od needs to be .003-.005 for a proper press fit.
Depending on what equipment the machinist has when doing the head rebuild, do not worry about the taper ID, a proper 3 angle seat cutter/blade will take care of all that.
Go + .0005-.001 on the guide OD to ensure a proper press fit in the guide bore of the head casting.
