Alright so my smog check renewal papers should be here any day now, so I put all my stock manifold/emissions crap on to pass smog.
Keep in mind I'm in SMOG **** CALIFORNIA
I have everything back to stock except my engine is built and I have the 9.1:1 lower compression pistons. The ONLY other thing that worries me is my EGR tube is disconnected from the manifold and blocked off at the other .
It wont fit with the coolant re-route.
Started the car up yesterday, drove it around for 10-15 minutes, it drives fine and there are no check engine codes thrown.
Should I be fine for smog test? Or will it throw a code or possibly not pass? I'm completely clueless on how much of an impact the EGR being blocked off is making on my emmissions.
Anyone have info on this?
PS: those of you that are not boosted, HOLY **** HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH BEING SO SLOW???!!!! I wanted to kill myself driving it
