Default new in(j)ectors ;)

I just ordered some supra green tops(70080's) so hopefully now I can get my dc below 95% on 6psi. According to an injector calculator, these should flow 408cc@60psi and be good to around 240-250crank Hp

I'd really like to swap a return fuel line so I can run an afpr, anyone have any info?

There is a spot on the end of my rail that looks like a regulator could be mounted to it?

The spot on the end of your rail fits the NA FPR. There IS an FPR in your system, but it is mounted closer to the fuel tank - you've got a short return fuel system.
Moral of the story: You can magically put in a "return line" if you want, as well as an AFPR at your rail, but it's not going to do **** as long as you've got your stock FPR regulating your system... how about just replace the stock FPR with an AFPR???

Or - you could upgrade to an injector for men instead of the pedobear-approved little-girl injectors you have now....

The fpr is mounted on the sending unit and is regulated to 60psi. It would be nice if I could just replace it with one set for 70psi because that should flow at least 440cc with the supra's and would be more than enough for my power goals. Unfortunately, if I install a afpr on the rail, I have to route the fuel back to the tank somehow.

BTW, do you know how to stop a pedobear?

With a sexual harassment panda silly!

Auxilliary fuel pump?

You too can run an FMU setup to increase the fueling capacity of your injectors on a DIY or budget setup. Although you'll need an inline fuel pump, and of course the FMU.

Basically, you plumb the FMU between the existing pump and fuel rail. Then loop the FMU around the inline, so the inlet of the FMU branches off from the fuel line after the inline pump and the return of the FMU branches off just before the inline.

What happens is, when you increase boost and the FMU clamps down, some of the fuel gets blocked off and thus the inline increases the fuel pressure.

Corky Bell also does this for his kits, in a similar fashion but different fashion; everything is done in the engine bay, so this make a simple DIY project to safely fuel a few pounds of boost.
Adds an inline fuel pump in the engine bay, and an auxilliary FPR/FMU after the fuel pump, which reroutes to the fuel line in front of the fuel pump, pressure at the fuel rail is increased, with no change in pressure prior to the inline fuel pump, or auxilliary fuel pressure regulator.

Didn't think anyone was running those pathetic supra 305's anymore. Guess I'm wrong.

Why would you get worthless small injectors then try to overclock them with more pressure and try to rethink the whole fuel system when you could have gotten some 460-550cc injectors and a real engine management system with much better control and power potential?

Because they were professionally cleaned and reconditioned and cost me $80 bucks. About the return system/afpr, I just feel more comfortable having control of it. I read about that aux pump but if I did end up using a afpr I think I would just go ahead and run a return line, stick with one pump and be done with it.

I'm not building a track car, just a weekend toy for hitting the twisties and the occasional street race. This car will never see more than 200-220whp.

So...these should be perfect and I can idle them with my ancient emb.
