Default Evo Fuel Injectors & FMIC

Hey guys I'm looking to turbo my 1.6 with a T25 setup for around 200whp with MS2. I don't post much because I can usually find what I need by searching, this one not so much. I have a Evo IX that is mildly built so I have some of its stock parts laying around. I am interested in using the stock Evo Denso 560cc fuel injectors if I can. I don't know if they're compatible with the miata though since they're High Impedance but maybe the MS2 can make them work. I don't mind doing a bit of resistor rewiring if needed. If I can't use them ill just pick up some RX8 yellows but I figure I have these already so may as well ask. I found some info that may or may not be useful on these injectors:

Pink – 560cc – EVO 8-9 – Stamped MDL560P, casting # INP-401 – Low Impedance, EV1 connector

That leads me into the FMIC, I was looking at the fleabay bar and plate 27"x5.5"x2.5", the one that seems to be pretty popular for little bullshit budget builds like this. Then I thought oh I have the stock Evo intercooler in my basement after I upgraded to a 3.5" Garrett core on the Evo. I think the stock fmic is a little big for this build but again its free and almost in brand new shape. Typical consensus on the Evo forum is the stock fmic is good to 400whp. Overall size on the stock Evo IX FMIC is 24.5"x11.5"x2.75". What do you guys think?

By the time you get connector adapters or rewire your factory harness and figure out what top hat adapters you need to make them fit physically AND rewire the MS2 with resistors you'll be time and money ahead to pick up plug and play RX8 injectors which are fine for your HP goals.

Only issue I see with an intercooler of that size is properly ducting it and keeping enough flow to the radiator. If you just slap it up front without ducting like most do it might be ok on the street or auto x, it would be a hot mess on track.

Yeah good points thanks for the reply. Spoke to one of my coworkers who's into cars and he basically said the same thing that I'm just splitting hairs over cheap parts. Do I really want the wiring headache and potential issues for the injectors when there's a p&p option for $150 bucks or so. I guess the same applies to the intercooler.. the potential rad cooling issues and overkill-ness for the Evo one or 60 bucks for the ebay one and be done with it. Car is strictly a street car through and though.

those injectors use different connectors, and they're different length
don't buy yellows from ebay, they are fake Chinese garbage
get flowforce and be happy

same thing with the fmic: it's too tall. by the time you hack up everything to fit, you'll be kicking yourself for not spending the few bucks to get the proper size
