Guy just threw a rod on #4 at 15 psi. Stock motor with Gt2560R and a good solid tune.

thats suck for the guy. looks like ill be doing rods and pistons then. dose any one know what the stock pistons are good for. not looking to ask the gov for a bailout on my miata build so if i could get away with 15psi on stock pistons that would be cool.

I've heard the ring lands go, after 250hp you are on borrowed time.
Paul is running 14 or 15 psi on a stock 99. It is still holding together. If your motor is running good. I would run it 14psi with a good tune and not worry about it. When it blows, Then build the next motor.
Buy rods and pistons over time. Then push 17-18psi.

Or are you wanting to track it?

Capitalize the first letter of each new sentence. Is English your fist language?

Paul's now running 17-18psi on that motor. I'm running 15psi on a gt2560r on a lower compression 94 engine. All good so far.

Yeap. I have a GT3271 and I'm wondering how much I can safely run on my 99' with a lot of headwork. I'm thinking 12 is gonna be it.

^ Why?

If the compression is good, then why screw with it?

Oh, and the word is "goes."
