Default Belfab pistons: rings?

I am looking at belfab's site and they show their piston and ord combo, but in the description it doesn't say anything about pistons rings. It goes pretty deep into describing everything else, but says nothing about that. They don't have a place on their website to buy just rings so i am confused.

I did send them an email asking about this, but they would have to come with new rings right? It's not something they would expect me to source somewhere else I wouldn't think.

Supertech sells pistons with and without rings, so you may want to wait to hear from Belfab to be sure. My Belfab Supertech pistons came with rings, but I ordered the Rod/Piston combo a long ago when he first started selling them.

Supertech described them as gas nitride racing rings produced by NPR (Nippon Piston Ring).

my supertechs from belfab came with rings and my experienced, respected builder said they "looked good."

MadZilla:I am getting the piston/rod combo as well. What did you think of the build quality of both pistons and rods?

Hustler: Did you use the belfab rods?

They looked shiny and cool to me

Seriously though, I did not measure any dimensions. I wouldn't even know what the measurements should be, but they look damn good.

I'll just add my 2 cents... ETD claims that belfab rods are garbage when I spoke with them on the phone. Will anyone back that, or are they just some haters!

Welcome to ETDRacing.com 2.0

My opinion is both ETD & Belfab rods look like they came from the same place.
