there isn't a whole lot of selection at this point.

unless there are some thuper thecret injectors out there I haven't heard of that are both cheap and work as well.

Id say if you're at 60% now just keep going til you get to 80 (even the most conservative weanies out there will agree that 80 is still ok) and see where you're at power wise. Hell I'd even go to 90 since you have the watermeth as a safety precaution

I'm in the market for some ID1000.

Somehow this thread make me think ID1000's are small injectors. lol

You can use Mike Moran's injectors. 5250cc/min for $335 or 2460cc/min for $190

Pshhhh, please.

Try these:

9,000cc.
That's not a typo.
Capable of 200psi fuel pressure.

Should get the job done

Ok well i am currently in low tens afr.

I guess if i lean up to high 11afr and richen up with meth then i get 10pct more fuel.

That means i can run uh 38.5psi and that is wihout having to use meth as fuel.

Lemme see how that goes. Should put me well over 600.

Ever see those in action? Of course you have. And they absolutely suck. You'd get a better spray pattern using a sink faucet.

Sounds like a plan.
Should hit 500whp imo

Would it be possible to fabricate a set of intake runner with 2 injector ports per runner? For example, one in the normal place and another on the bottom? It wouldn't do good things to spray pattern, but I doubt that 2000cc injectors have particularly good patterns either.

I'm almost positive a 2000cc injector in proper location will be better than 2 1000's in remote locations. Also he'd be spending 3 times as much money at that point.

Keep in mind they get better spray patterns as you turn up the pressure. I'll bet an ID2000 at 70psi is probably more consistent than an old pos rx7 460 injector.

Good point, I hadn't thought of that. I bet the pattern really does clean up as the pressure goes up. Anyways, it was just a thought.

I run ~70psi base with a 1:1 boost reference, but I'm on E85. T1Race says that the best pattern is found at ~90psi rail.

ID1000s at 70psi base should support ~700bhp on gas and 450bhp on E85.

ID 1000s can make 500whp on e85 and about 700whp on c16. Or at least they can on an s2000.
^at 90psi
I would expect your setup to be very capable of hitting the 700whp mark on e85.

I highly doubt the 700 figure you guys keep throwing around.
Their "ratings" are not exactly spot on and don't exactly apply to every car/setup.
Just my .02

when i was making sure my 680cc ev1's worked(used an injector pulser tool and a fuel induction flusher tool)they looked like a mini fire hose with 6 streams of fuel at 45psi. at 65 psi the streams blended together to form one big stream and some fog...

Ok so in conclusion i will see what i can squeeze out of these injectirs.

If not enough then i will get the fic injectors or whatever.

All i want to do is spin the wheels in 6th. Is that too much to ask?
