I'll bring it with me in my suit-case, stay at your place, borrow your car and you can take all the time in the world to look over it in your garage?.
Yeah... sounds like a good deal.

Just a quick update for anyone interested.

I've been tuning and datalogging dozens of times in the last month, and boy am I having fun and learning new things.
This kit originaly does not come with any computers or piggybacks, so I have no idea how in the world it would have worked on a standard EMS. In other words my fuel map, amongst other things, is pretty freaky.

With IRTB's, as soon as you crack the throttle open, even at light acceleration, the MAP spikes up to 95+kPa, as opposed to a slow (relatively) and linear progression. In other words, there is little difference in MAP regardless if you do a WOT full blooded run, or mild suburban/city cruise.
Due to this, there are places on the fuel map/curve that need careful attention whereas before, on a standard car, these areas never gets seen.
For example 96kPa @ 1,000RPM.

Over the last few months, I have renewed my love of tuning and driving.
I have also taken her to two track days and she performed flawlessly, albeit loudly.

I am continuously fine-tuning, and have yet to put her on a dyno for a final *****-to-the-wall tune. Looking forward to THAT day let me tell you

Mazda, Mazdaspeed and MegaSquirt, more specifically DIYAutotune, = winning combination.

Thanks for the advice here guys and girls. Keep it up.

Play nicely and safe driving
