Default N/A 1.6 bleeding ear drone question

Hey all,

YES. I did search and yes, I realize I am posting in a 'turbo' oriented community (Which, I believe, is the most straight forward, knowledgeable Miata gurus..)

Anyhow,

I need some inputs regarding my exhaust setup and how to attack the ****-my-brain drone.

Its currently running HKS header, begi 2.5 spun cat, RSR exmag with silencer (Without the silencer my head splitted about an inch)

(Yes. The problem began when I slapped on the exhaust )

I am looking into adding a resonator to see if it will tone down, specifically, 12" bottle-style vibrant resonator. So while I was searching, I found a few posts that those style will NOT reduce absolute volume by much but will help in getting rid of raspy-ness...Anyone have true experience with the resonators?

Also, what is the maximum length that I could go in terms of placing resonator behind the cat. converter?

To summarize:

1) Maximum length of resonator that I could install on NA miata.
2) Do Vibrant bottle-style resonators really doesn't do much in terms of decreasing volume/drone

Thanks for reading and thank you in advance
