Default looking for a 12v hot wire on NB

was told use fuel plum from the fuse box but that's under the hood and i rather use something under the dash to splice into that's hot when ever the key is in and even when cranking.

What year? '99-'00 and '01+ are fairly different.

But, the white/red wire is pretty universal. This is the one that comes from the Main Relay and supplies power to the ECU and the critical sensors.

99, where do i find this wire?

edit, i have tried a few but so far they all cut power while cranking. i see on really think one going to the starter key but i'm betting by the size of the wire that there is to much power there

If you have power door lock wiring under the dash, the Orange wire is hot at all times. If you don't have locks the wiring is probably still there but you may have to add a fuse in the block marked D'Lock.

The connector has six wires, Orange, black, Red, Blue, Red/Yellow, Blue/Yellow

It goes to the ECU. Pin 1B. Hot with the key in both Run and Start, cold in ACC and Off.
