Default Power steering on NA to VVT swap?

Hi,

How do you handle the difference on the power steering pump on your
NA to vvt swaps? The VVT engines have the power steering pump
routed through the extra cooler, the NA has a direct connection to the
reservoir... And the connection is different on the pump...

Thanks for sharing your experiences...

Retain your 1.8 NA pump.

Alternatively, put your purse down so you can use both hands to remove the power steering system.

Add in the NB cooler? Manu up and make custom lines? Everyone knows that only fast drivers actually need power steering. The slow ones can get by without it.

Just wanted to let you know the solution...

A car recycler around the corner had just the perfect car to get the
right 01+ pressure line.... Everything works fine!

I did this as part of my swap. I had a powersteering hose split on a trackday which caused a small engine bay fire just before I did the swap so decided it was time to get rid and man up.
