The plan is simple.

We must run ALLOFIT.

Wow man, that's a really great question, I don't know if anyone has asked that before. Most of us around here have used eBay parts to great effect, but I searched for BP turbo kit on ebay and didn't come up with much. Maybe you will have better luck searching there for something?

I found this, it should get you to a reliable 350whp so that should be enough for your front wheel drive. Universal T3 T04E T3 T4 Turbo Kit 57AR turbocharger Universal Stage 2 Upgrade | eBay

Berto, real quick.

go to the Noob section and introduce yourself.

Next do some random reading and research.

What its gonna come down to for reliable 400whp is quality and lots of boost. Good luck.

What's your budget? I can build you a 400whp capable longblock for about $5k including core charge and an upgraded harmonic damper.

2 BP's!!? Put them both in the back. That way you can have direct power to each rear wheel.

you need to do a lot more reading. the g series transmission won't hold up to the 400whp for very long. Also you may have to make custom mounts unless you get the 2nd Gen g series transmission. eBay Turbo kits won't hold up either so your better off piecing together your own kit. 250whp is about all the stock rods will hold up to. rods pistons arp head studs bigger fuel pump bigger injectors ms3. Probably would be a good idea to get a bigger fuel rail also. Oversized valves would also be a good idea.

I will run Kia transmission it is stronger than the G series. I hope my turbo holds up for the task it says 30psi but how really believe that beyond 20psi is all luck. My fuel pump is a walbro 255lph injectors are 750cc and I am running megasquirt 2. ARP head studs always a good investment.

Good Job with the Megasquirt.... But, sell me your injectors, and Get ID1000's, Tune it, and run E85.
E85, with those badass injectors, and a Proper build will get you your 400hp. Manley Rods are rated to just over 600hp, and they are nice and cheap. Spend some decent money on pistons though, maybe wiseco's or supertech or something. Idk jack about FWD trannys though (besides the mechanics of them). Just make sure whatever you get is strong enough... im willing to bet with those goals, your options are very limited.
But, with a 400hp goal, on a BP, you better have your tune spot on. the MS2 can do it, but you may consider selling it and getting a MS3X. IF You want it to be reliable, AND for it to see track time, you want to make sure you pretty much have the best of everything, especially at 400hp.
Your turbo kit will basically be useless going 1.6 to 1.8 though.... If you are gonna spend decent money on a Turbo Manifold for the BP, you may as well piece together a good FM or BEGi kit, that way you will have the reliability you need.
Im sure if your current manifold HASNT cracked yet, that its well on its way. The turbo could go either way though. If its from Ebay, its either Really crappy, or really good....

See the info posted about the ZM-de engine you have here:
https://www.miataturbo.net/build-thr...e-build-62722/

You may be downgrading by going to a BP unless you use a head from a 99+ BP. Just build the motor you have in there and 400hp shouldn't be a problem.

If you really must have 400whp in a DD, then I'm afraid ALLOFIT really is the answer.
