Default Project 300HP NA/NA

So a friend a few months ago brought up the idea of using a V6 AJ30 out of a Lincoln LS or a Jag. About a month ago I found a 2000 Jaguar S-type in the junkyard with 100,800 miles. After removing the valve cover, there must have been a old lady driving this one due to the amount of dried sludge in the engine. So far I'm starting to break down the engine for a short block factory rebuild. The upper end will have race heads and cams from Cat Cams. The factory weight is same if not lighter than the factory engine.

More to come in a bit....

I've seen 418 hp and 269 ft-lbs NA with a 9K Rev limit. This engine is used in dozens of different RC's.

I will be running a 1.8 diff and a T5 trans

So Far the Pro's
Light weight
Engine is designed by Porsche
Short Block internals done by Cosworth
The engine comes in Mazda6, Lincoln LS, Jag X and S-type and numerous other cars.

Negative's
Front sump
Tall intake Manifold
Lack of after market
Factory manual trans is weak
Ford design heads, do not flow

Does/Didn't Noble use those in their cars? 400-600 HP with really nice manners from twin setups. Kinda cool. Does the T5 bolt right up with a stock and/or common bellhousing?

Yes the Noble M400 uses a twin setup on low boost it make 441 hp. The bellhousing is expensive if you don't want to go with a adapter plate. Here is the link Bellhousing (DU6T5)

those look like variable valve timing intake cams.
in which case good luck cleaning out the mechanisms and oil control valves
this engine is screaming for like a week in the hot tank lol

Throw that one back and try again.

THis is the 3.0 liter version of the 2.5 v6 from the mazda6 (which shares no relation to the KLDE) right? A local built up the 3.0 liter version with a bunch of nobel parts and made some decent N/A power on an engine built for boost through some cracked up shitty ebay headers. I kind of cant wait till he gets money again because IIRC theres a PTE 6262 sitting at his house waiting on hotside parts to go in.
