Default Ebay exhaust??

eBay Motors: Mazda Miata 90 91 92 93 94 95 Tsduo N1 Catback Exhaust (item 390048176913 end time May-09-09 23:22:35 PDT)
OK, I'm going a budget aproach.

Ebay has a 2 1/2" exhaust system for 159.00 mandrenal bent. Does anyone know if the muffler is a straight through!?

If it is I'm going to try it out. I think I had a car that had one once. It was just a little too loud N/A. So with turbo I'm hoping it will be good.

But the Echo tip would definalty be taken off.

Anyone Try It?

So it steps up from a 2" to a 2 1/2. That is cheezy.

It would still be better than the exhaust that is on the car. Hmmm.

At what point does it finally acheive 2 1/2".

it was either 2" or 2.25". its the entire mid-pipe and it steps to 2.5" at the first 90* bend.

those arent my pics, but i think people were still pleased with it. beats stock...probably quite.

The exhaust that is on it is a 2 1/2 with glasspacks.

I may get a $50.00 mandrenal exhaust kit from ebay and spend to have them welded in.

It would probably save 35.00.

For $240 I can get a crimp bend 3" with a magnaflow. Mabe even a reasonator.
But that goes back to dumping cash in again.

Get some mandrel bend and then get a custom exhaust bent for 150 at a local muffler shop. It will perform well and be affordable..

On ebay they have Dynomax Thrush mufflers for 35.00. I may put that on the 3" exhaust and put it on my car.

This is going on the GT2554 car. I want 10 psi. The 3" should flow more than the power 10psi will enduce.

I just don't want it loud.

I may just replace the 2 1/2 " crimp bends with mandrel bends.

I think I would rather have 2 1/2" on this car. Much quieter.
