Default need help with coolant routing for fwd b6t

ok so i have a ford festiva with a mazda b6t, We are planning on running the miata intake manifold for better flow over the b6t intake. I noticed so differences in in between the coolant running for the b6t and the b6de. On the b6t it has a oval coolant opening, it appears this has a cavity for a coolant sensor as well as a 3/8? nipple which im not sure where it went to, does anyone know where that nipple went to? On the miata b6de it does not use this oval passage, its just plugged, so im questioning if we need the passage or not? where thinking the hole may help direct the coolant flow threw the head?

Next question on the throttle body side of the intake, there is a 1/4 coolant line that appears to make a 90 degree turn out from the head to the throttle body, where does this coolant line go to?

Should we just cap both these coolant passages?

miata intake on top with oval coolant blocked, bottom intake b6t with opening and nipple on back

this port where not sure what it goes to, it is interfering with are mount.

That 1/4" barb on the manifold goes to the bottom of the idle valve, I'm not really sure why it's there, part of the warm up setup, including the valve on the top of the manifold that a lot of us block off with a plate. I use that 1/4" feed for my turbo.

I don't know what the fwd cars use the big port between 3&4 for, but like you said it's blocked off on the miatas. Shove a wire in there and see where it comes out.

thanks, where going to use a universal throttle body so im going to delete the coolant to the tb. What about the oval port, will it be ok to just block it?

The miata blocks it, I don't see why not. I'd fine out what it feeds before blocking it though.

It feeds the heater core! So i think i have 2 options open.that port up and make box for a nipple to go in. Or use the small port that use to go to the tb, the hole is maybe 3/8-1/2 i can.maybe tap a big barb to it?
