New question about fuel. I've read so much it's kind of all bled together. Do I need a rail off a 99-00 car or can I use the 04 rail with the 90 pressure regulator? I worked on manipulating the FPR for about 30 minutes, but it still needs more to clear the head.

What is the sensor on the back of the head on the CAS side of the valve cover, looks like a dumby. It's in the coolant / injector harness of the 04.

Ps. A 90 model harness is o00ooOooold.

Putting the 1.6 FPR on the 01+ rail will make the FPR interfere with the head/valve cover. The '99 rail locates it differently and it no longer interferes.
