Shim under bucket on vvt, 7200.
Ok, so I understand the premise behind shim under bucket. To lighten your valve train so you can rev higher, and keep your metal tiddly winks from spitting out at high RPM. I care nothing about the first, since I will be running VVT, and not revving the pee out of it. I will probably just roll with the factory 7200 rpm limit and go for mad torque....yo. I only want about low to mid 300's. Anyways, has anyone with experience had this happen at stock rpmish areas? I don't want to go pouring money into things unless I absolutely have to. Right now, the distance between have to have, and would be nice to have is expanding. Thanks.
