Default Fancy intake for not so fancy Miata

I had a honda once... it had a fancy cold air intake. I missed my fancy honda intake so i decided to make my miata a fancy intake. This fancy intake would only suck in the fanciest of air through the fanciest of filters from the fanciest location...

After building said intake, i sipped from a glass of the fanciest Franzia.

The intake runs down under the front bumper. only took like 12hrs to make :/

Yeah 50/50, having some issues with it because I'm running post turbo injection and it's running very rich, and pooling up somewhere on deceleration. I'm going to have to run a separate Hobbs switch and solenoid or possibly a progressive controller. The spool has a great feel tho... It's all about the feels. <br >

I wonder how compressor erosion feels. Nothing better than hitting water droplets at 200,000rpm. Such power, very angular velocity, wow.

I'm not to worried about my 300$ turbo. This whole setup will be out of the car by the end of summer to make room for a built engine. I'm aware of the potential damage.

I would love to make you one but I think it wouldn't fit especially with Ac. I had to reweld and move my intercooler piping to dodge the bottom of the intake.

I love intercooler piping. Want to fix my janky *** through the fender piping? <3
