Default DIY Gaming accessories.

So I have a Thrustmaster Warthog. I like it. I have added the FSSB force-sensitive base to it and it is now truly awesome.

However ... the FSSB requires enough force that actually mounting the stick to something became necessary. I didn't want to drill holes in the computer table, and that would not have been an optimal spot ergonomically anyway. So, I spent some time with my welder and some angle steel. This took a remarkable amount of time for what it is. Figuring out the necessary measurements so that I could somewhat accurately locate the mounting positions for the throttle and stick in 3d space was challenging.

I made no modifications to the chair, this bracket simply bolts on with the 6 existing bolts used to attach the seat to the base.

I have a logitech wheel I've used for gt5 and gt6. I just bolt it to my desk. Now I feel like a little bitch, thanks. In all seriousness though, this is really cool, I'd like to see some more from others.

I built this when I was 17 or 18 for GT5 when it came out. I went full retard and ripped apart the pedal box to hang them, an e brake handle was in the works. It was a blast. Mig'd it all up 1" square stock

So did you wear your helmet while playing?

I clamp my G25 to the desk. That works out fine, it's in the right spot. No need to rig something special up for it. The joystick had to be mounted somehow.

I clamp the G27 to my keyboard tray because the desk is too high, and then I put vice grips on the sliders to prevent it from moving. Thankfully on carpet so the office chair doesnt roll around. But now I'm quickly starting to have more stock miata seats than I know what to do with. I think if I can get an occulus rift I'll just build a sim seat.

I built a "cockpit" out of a chair to play Mechwarrior 2 back in the day. I bolted my Microsoft SideWinder 3D Pro directly to it and later a Precision Pro. No pics, because like 1995.
