Miata Head Flange Drawing
We like to share what we design. This has not been tested yet, but should be shortly. So don't go building it without your own testing.
And the file

It is 1/2" thick, and built for 1-1/2" schedule 40 pipe.

Great question. I used 1.5" sch. 40 because it matched the factory port size when I smooshed it oval with a press. If you're making a fancy flange with a loft between the oval and round cross section, I'd think about doing it for 1.25" pipe too.

I used 1.5" because that seems to be the common pipe size. My current manifold is built out of 1.25".
I'll see about getting a 1.25" drawn up. 1.25" shedule 40 is pretty small ID though compared to the ports.
Oh now I remember why 1.5". ACE Race doesn't have 321SS in 1.25 schedule 40.
