along with some springs. And tomorrow will be even better once I get them installed, it feels like Christmas but much warmer!!!! More pictures to follow.
|
crap, I just realized I posted in the wrong section, please move it to general! All the excitement made me crazy for a minute!!
|
I can't wait to get mine. Nickel is dead sexy on any color Miata. What specs on those? I think I want some 8'' for some 225 action.
|
Good stuff man. Pics of it installed tomorrow:)
|
Assuming it doesn't rain yet again, I should have pics up. I figure on 4-5 hours to install the new springs, install new camber bolts all around, and replace the front driver side lower control arm. Then off to the alignment shop and have the car detailed. And then I'll just sit and stare at it for awhile with the new wheels on scared to drive it around in fear of hurting them! I waited over 2 months for them, it will be hard to even see them get dirty.
|
Mine are out for delivery right now. too bad I won't be home to get them.
|
6UL FTW! I just wish I could afford to replace my almost-slicks RS-2s so I could DD them again instead of the 14" wheels with 185s.
What tires are you putting on them? |

Congrats on rims! The s.tech's are awesome. I've had them in mine for about 4 years now and they're still strong.

Congrats on the 6ULs, nickel is awesome on those. The Tein S-Techs are great springs, but definitely look into some 36mm bumpstops, NB mounts or both. Mine ride great with the AGXs, but run out of travel real fast. I find myself constantly bouncing off the bumps (54mm with NA mounts) on anything but great condition roads. Also, some folks have the rear sit a little too low for their tastes with those. My rake turned out fine, and I have some 1/2" spacers made just for that if yours doesn't suit you. |

You can't be as thrilled over some lousy wheels as those sextastic t-bolt clamps I sent you!
Damn I didn't need to see those pics. Now I've really got to paint my wheels. I bought my nickel 6ul's 2nd hand with a whole bunch of brake dust corrosion on them. Gotta make em pretty like yours. Just haven't figured out how to get DIY paint to look like Emilio's nickel finish! |

Still haven't installed the springs, so don't make fun of the 4x4 look!!

Very nice
needs more lower  |
very aggressive looking wheels...nice
And yes, more lower please. |
are those like 205/60s?
|
the new center caps are garbage...but holy shit that wheel looks awesome. I love the new nickel. I need a set in 9" so I can run nickel on one side, bronze on the other.
|
Getting mine mounted today. I'll be pimpin' nickles before the night is through.
