Allright guys it's in! It looks great amd most of all it works! Not keep in mind that this is a sub $200 radiator so it deffinately falls into the "you get what you pay for" category. The reason I say that is because it is not a direst bolt in. It wasnt difficult to put it in just a little time consuming. So 1st step is to obviously remove the stock radiator and remoce the fans from the radiator. To install the fans onto the new radiator I had to elongate the top mounting holes.

After I mounted the fans I noticed that there were rather large gaps between the radiator and fans. To fix that i went to Home Depot and picked up some self adhesive pipe wrap insullation tape.

I cut the wrap into about 1" strips and lined the edges of the radiator.

On the outside edges I put 3 strips and down the center between the 2 fans I put 1 strip. Then I mounted the fans.

Next was to attach the mounting brackets. Before you do this check to see how your brackets line up with tho hols in the radiator. With my radiator I had elongate the holes on one side.

For some reason on the other side the holes lined up perfectly. I also noticed that because this radiator has those lips on the sides I needed to cut 2 pieces out on each side for the bracket to fit flat against the radiator.


When I went to slide the radiator into the car I noticed that because of how thick it is that it wouldnt just slide down because of the shape of the frame wings near where the radiator sits. What I did was remove the pass side radiator mount from the radiator and then put it in place in the car and then I slid the radiator in. It still took a little muscle but it went in.

After you get it in just install the top bolts, reattach the hoses and fill it up. One problem I had was where the bottom hoses conectos to the radiator was slightly closer to the center of the radiator i had to use some flex hose in order to get aroung my charge pipe.

OK, install looks easy enough. For less than half cost of a PWR I can deal with enlarging a couple bolt holes.
So is there enough sway bar clearance for an oversized bar?

I have the 1" FM bar in there and there is still a small gap between the bar and the fans.

You can get slim fans all day long on ebay for sub $30 each. Thats what I'm running on my 3" coolradiator.com radiator.

LOL, thats the same damn link I just posted.....I have 2 on mine as you can see in the pic scott posted. They are wired together and when they turn on they are never on for more than 15sec before temp is down again.
