Props to thesnowboarder for letting me get the photos. I've had a couple people tell me that it would look better painted black. I was worried the bulge would look too aggressive for the rest of the car, but I'm not worried about that anymore. I sorta dig the raw CF, but a fiberglass + painted version would be a little more low-key.

Ideas/opinions?

I think the following:

A) A blind monkey cut the hole in the front bumper.
B) The hood looks money in cf.

Was the hood latched? It looks like there is a rather large gap on the front edge. I am assuming you just threw it on quick though.

IMO it looks sick, I think raw CF is way played out but that would definitely be the hot **** painted black.

I like it.. if you fix the gap in the hood. It would look double good if you fixed the hole in the front bumper.

Leave it CF imo. Only because cf/black looks really good in real life, and not so good in pictures.

I think CF on street cars looks kind of ricey. Paint it black it would look sick though. I think you have the fitment issues under control.

I swear the top of the bumper cut is straight. The airflow has put a wave in the bumper so it doesn't look straight. I'm going to do a Brightning duct eventually to clean it up. Hood fitment is poor because we didn't even attempt to straighten it up.

No signals looks even sexier on a black car man, wow. I honestly never noticed before you didn't have them.

I say keep it CF, it'll save you money in the long run and it doesn't look bad at all.

That things is sexy!! Hole in the bumper and all, I think it looks great. The hood would perhaps look better painted, but it would not make enough difference to be worth the money IMO.

R-comps are like crack. I hustled an STI on RE-01Rs around an onramp tonight and it felt lackluster :(

Dammit Sav, don't say **** like that, I am still in the honeymoon stage with my RS2's.

I'd go with fiberglass painted black, or i'd run the hood track only.

I like the look of the vent in the hood, reminds of a Knight's Sport (IIRC) for the FD.

Who made it?

Keep it as-is, cf goes subtle on black cars so you're safe.

I say keep it as long as you can get it to fit better and then paint it black.
