Default Differential torque specs

How tight should the diff pumpkin be attached to the aluminum carrier on a 1.8 rear end? Just snug?

Thanks

1. apply sealant to the housing face
2. tighten the bolts

13-19 ft/lbs.

I just posted in your thread on CR.net. My '95 FSM says 17-19 ft/lbs, but you get the general idea.

I tightened it to 25ft/lbs according to some old ass book my dad had. probably woulda been smarter to check for exact specs on here, but whats done is done. holds good too, no leaks and none of the bolts / threads broke
