yea miatas dont feel to stable at high speeds.thats probaly another reason for the gearing.

I think any thing over 140 is crazy. Don’t get my wrong I would love to go 200mph before I die. I just don’t want to do both at the same time. I have been about 145 once.

I get just as good of a thrill going slower around tight curves.

I have seen 165 in my turbo mr2, but that was due to a state trooper on the side of the road that I passed at 145.

I have only gone 120, because at 110 the wind noise is so loud. It sounds like the hardtop is going to rip off the car just above the rearview mirror. The car can go faster than I can

why would you want to do that? I've.. ehh.. gone over the speed limit a share of times in my life (i've seen 150), but i'd never do it in a miata. Not even for money. Then again when one of your best friends rolls his car 5 times at 95mph you get a better outlook on these types of things. If he was in a miata at the time, he wouldn't have lived to tell about it, that's for sure.

there is a video of that crazy japanese guy who does 200 mph in tunnels in japan (midnight club)... there was a car set up ahead that was going 90, the guy flew by so quickly that the airburst almost sent the chase car into the wall

http://videos.streetfire.net/search/...28009c7498.htm

thats the video

I've seen that video before. It's amazing. Smoky Nagata is the man. Top Secret is a best tuning company in Japan. If only he could put his mind to a Miata...

I pegged the speedo
No gps data to verify. I wish I had one of those fancy navigation doo-dads.

I have always appreciated an honest person. That one attribute makes up for all other faults you may have - including wing.............
