I want to be able to edit my build thread's first post to update my progress, but it does not let me make any changes now. Any way to do this? I would also like to alter my title if at all possible.

There is a 7 day edit window on all posts... I it used to be unlimited, then 24hrs, now 7days after an onslaught of complaints. I personally see no reason for an edit timeframe (especially for subscribers).

Only mods can alter titles, just PM one and they will change it.

well actually my edit window was closer to 30 days, which was great because it allowed me to update as i gathered parts and update pictures and whatnot. Good to know about the title, ill give one of em a PM about the title.

There is a VB mod that can change the edit window for specific forums. We use it on a local forum in our classifieds section.
