This reminds me, I probably should update from the beta version I've been running (build 1.3.18)...

It's a heck of a great app, by the way. I've been using it for a couple of months on my old Android phone, and I just absolutely love it.

The only flaw is that it doesn't support the Moderator Control Panel, so if I want to ban someone while I'm sitting on the toilet in the men's room at terminal 3 of JFK airport, I have to fire up Opera Mini and do it the old-fashioned way.

Well I'll be damned- I never noticed that before, but you're right! That's a lot more convenient than using the MCP.

My toilet-based productivity just went up!

It seriously is quite excellent, and I'm not just saying that because of the copious amount of pure, uncut cocaine that Nolan gives me in exchange for being his shill.

Takes a little getting used to, but once you learn the controls, you'll never even consider browsing MT from your phone using any other method.

I've been using this now for a few weeks...I don't even use a browser any more. My only complaints are minor: attached images seem to be doubled/tripled once you click on one to view, and not all of the thumbnails seem to be viewable; and only a few avatars show up for me, how does one enable them?

I have been using it for a few apps as well and I really like the way it is organized. It really does make using this site from my phone 100% easier.

Now I'm confused Joe. I installed this from the Play store a couple of weeks ago, and I'm not sure if I updated yet but I am definitely on 1.3.18, however Google Play seems to think it is up to date.

So they might have just renamed one of the 'beta' builds as the release.

I haven't used it much, I'll have to give it a shot. Is there a 'new' button? It is the reason I use the desktop site from my phone.

1.3.18 should be the latest version. The beta I gave Joe was an all exclusive link to the version everyone would eventually have access to when they were given the link.

You can view "New" or "Recent" posts on the Current screen and it is broken out for Last 3 Days, Last Visit, and Participated.

Yeah, I noticed that. Who knows... maybe I did update it.

Yeah, it works a bit differently from the desktop version.

At the bottom of the screen is a button marked "Current" which is more or less the same function as the "new posts" button in the desktop version. You can adjust the temporal depth of the display in settings- I believe the default is to show 3 days' worth of threads.

EDIT: Nolan beat me to it.

Cool, I assumed Joe got a release candidate since I had the same version and Google didn't want me to update.

The app is quite nice, I will have to get used to it. I will miss being able to open up 10 threads in new tabs, but I won't miss trying to hit the tiny button every time.

Yeah I already own tapatalk, sure would be good just to use that. I don't know why forums like m.net and this one develop their own. I can still use tapatalk on m.net though which is very nice.

I honestly didn't much care for tapatalk. I find the IB app to be much more intuitive, coming from a predominantly desktop world.

I used it a little bit and honestly it seems like the same thing just with ads.

The double picture issues is an unfortunate side effect of the automatic attachment plugin and the app shows both the original source image and the attachment image.

Are you on Android with the issues enlarging photos?
